Born to Buck is a celebration of the untamed spirit of the cowboy and the beautiful chaos of the American West. Nine riders move across the canvas bucking, roping, racing, and holding on; each capturing a different fleeting moment of life in the rodeo saddle.
I wanted to take imagery that feels deeply rooted in traditional Western culture and bring it to life through a completely modern lens. Electric turquoise, fiery red, and deep black transform these familiar cowboy silhouettes into something bold and unexpected, while layers of visible color and texture give the piece a sense of constant movement.
At its heart, Born to Buck is about rodeo life, spirit, and cowboys doing what they were born to do.

Alexis Frazier
Alexis Frazier is a Tulsa-based artist specializing in acrylic and oil painting. She has loved creating art from a young age and has continually pursued her dream of becoming a full-time artist. Alexis recently launched the Tiny Works of Heart Monthly Print Club, offering collectors a chance to enjoy her work in smaller, signed editions each month. She is also known for filming time-lapse videos of every piece she paints, allowing others to experience the creative process from the first brushstroke to the final detail.
