Growing up in Oklahoma, I developed a deep appreciation for its landscapes, rodeo culture, ranching traditions, and the people who embody the spirit of the West. Those experiences continue to shape every painting I create.

Some of my earliest memories are of spending time with my grandpa, watching classic Westerns (Roy Rogers and John of course) and listening to stories about old cowboys and the American frontier. His appreciation for Western classics sparked my own fascination at a young age and laid the foundation for the work I create today. Those moments instilled a lasting respect for the history, character, and resilience of the West that continues to inspire every collection.

I begin each piece with vibrant layers of acrylic, allowing bold fields of color to remain visible as negative space beneath thicker applications of paint. This process creates striking contrast, movement, and depth, inviting viewers to discover new details the longer they engage with the work. My signature neon inspired palette challenges expectations of Western art while honoring the timeless strength, resilience, and beauty of its subjects.

Rather than documenting the West as it was, I strive to capture how it feels; its grit, freedom, energy, and enduring character. By combining contemporary techniques with iconic Western imagery, I hope to create paintings that feel both familiar and unexpected, bridging tradition with a fresh, modern perspective.
