Scarlet Stallion captures the raw muscle, strength, and untamed energy of the wild horse. I wanted the horse to feel almost alive on the canvas—its body twisting with power, every curve and line emphasizing the incredible strength beneath its movement. The vivid scarlet red intensifies that feeling.
For me, wild horses have always represented a kind of freedom that cannot be felt today. This piece celebrates that instinctive power; the beauty of something that belongs completely to itself. Painted in my signature bold red and turquoise palette, Scarlet Stallion brings a modern energy to one of the West’s most enduring symbols of freedom.

Alexis Frazier is a Tulsa-based artist specializing in acrylic and oil painting. She has loved creating art from a young age and has continually pursued her dream of becoming a full-time artist.
