T-Town Original

This 30 x 40 acrylic on canvas brings the spirit of the Old West into the heart of downtown Tulsa, depicting cowboys on horseback driving a herd of Longhorn cattle straight through the city’s downtown streets. This piece is especially meaningful to me because it brings together two things that have shaped so much of my work: my love for traditional Western imagery and my love for my hometown of Tulsa. I wanted to imagine the city through a different lens; where Tulsa’s downtown streets meet the wild, untamed spirit of the West. There’s something I love about seeing these iconic Longhorns and cowboys set against a place that feels so familiar to me. To me, this painting feels like a celebration of home, Western heritage, and the history that still runs through Oklahoma today.
