The Marshall

36 x 48 | Acrylic on Canvas

The Marshall is inspired by some of my earliest memories of the Wild West; growing up watching old Western movies with my grandpa and becoming fascinated by the grit, danger, and roughness of the Wild West. I’ve always loved how those films made the frontier feel larger than life, filled with fearless characters and stories of lawmen, outlaws, and survival.

In this piece, I wanted to capture that nostalgia while bringing it into my own modern style. The rugged figure of the marshal is set against my bold red and turquoise palette, blending the raw spirit of an old Western with the bright color, texture, and energy that have become such an important part of my work.
