Twin Spirits is a Western folk inspired painting featuring two white horses emerging from a dreamlike landscape. I have always been drawn to the storytelling and symbolism found in traditional Western folk art, and with this piece, I wanted to create something that feels almost like a memory or a legend passed down over time.
I imagined Twin Spirits as a hazy dream a cowboy might have beneath the desert stars: two pale horses appearing through the dust and heat, familiar yet otherworldly, as if they belong somewhere between the real West and the stories we tell about it. The piece is meant to capture that quiet, mystical side of the West, where solitude, folklore, and imagination begin to blur together.
